Bad knees -this product is a must

def. worth the money--get a spare one just in case it eventually starts to peel--Down here in S. tex. they have birthday parties in the pit area--even the coke spills wont prevent you from the same slide.

Pros:

Economical, Improved delivery, Smoother slide, Very Easy To Apply

Cons:

Hard to find in pro shops

Bottom Line:

Yes it works

This has been a life saver, my appoach has really imrpoved big time; sticking is no longer a concern in my game. I bowl two leagues, the True-slide lasted over a year. Carry an extra one in your bag. You could peel off the old and slap on the new one and be ready to bowl the next frame. Best reason to use it is to replace the powders that leaves residule on the lanes and makes the lanes to slippery for you and your fellow bowlers.

AMAZING !!!

LOVED THIS PRODUCT !!!! This product solved my sliding problem. I've tried several different expensive shoes and I continued to stick. As a last ditch effort, I tried this product. It works beautifully. I am about to order several more to keep as spares in case they stop making it.

Pros:

Durable, Improves consistancy, Prevents Injuries, Protects soles of shoes

Best Uses:

Damp or Humid conditions, Multiple houses, Wet or snowy areas

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great Consistancy

This product may be one of the best bowling investments that I could have made. I have been using this product for well over 10 years. It is easy to apply to your slide shoe, and it stays put. Once it is on, it will be there for the life of your shoes.
I reside in Western Pennsylvania, which means lots of rain and snow. I could not tell you how many times I have walked through water with my bowling shoes on. I have NEVER stuck because of it. Also, through the years I have traveled to many different bowling centers, both synthetic and natural wood. My slide is identical in every house, no need to worry about that being a variable in my game.
I am by no means a professional bowler, but would recommend this to any bowler from novice to expert.

Pros:

Consistent Slide, Easy to clean, Stays On, Works The Same Wet Or Dry

Cons:

TOO SOFT, Too small

Best Uses:

Use 2 And Cut To Fit

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We need more than one size!

Great Stuff! Have used it or similar for 40 years. Really miss the old nylon Quick-Slide, Big rectangular piece that you cut to fit, then glued on with contact cement. Tru-Slide is too soft to keep small hard bits from getting embedded in it, need to work on that.

Too small for big foot!

I have big feet, size 14 D. These need to be twice as large to work well for me. If you'very got normal feet they'really great, but order 2 if you're a size 12 or greater.

Question:

What slide number is this?

8/18/2016 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Hello Roy! This doesn't technically have a slide number. But it can be compared to 3G's most slippery slide (their slide 1) because it is made out of the same material.

I have used Tru Slide for at least 40 years, I just bought a new pair of Linds, it is on my slide shoe,I am right handed, can I put it on my right shoe also, five step, drag, drag step, step, slide,

10/4/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This is ideal to put on your slide foot but if you were wanting to put this on your push off foot to may loose the ability to push off well. It could help if you shuffle your feet on the approach though to have some slide on the traction foot.

Hello,I have been out of bowling 10 yrs.have new shows no slide at all.bowled very bad.use to have 192 average.could not slide with new dexter shoes.will these slides slide or stop in 2 inches.very bad soles of the new bowling age need a remedy, before I face plant

8/15/2023 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Tru Slide soles can help the shoes to slide more but there could also be other options depending on the exact Dexter shoe you have. Some Dexter shoes have interchangeable slide soles and heel. If that is the case you may could replace the sole on the shoe with one that is designed to give you more slide. If the sole is fixed and not interchangeable then the Tru Slide would be a good option.
