Motiv Trident Nemesis

Motiv continues the popular Trident high performance ball line with the Motiv Trident Nemesis. This ball introduces the Infusion HV (High Volume) Pearl Reactive coverstock and Sidwinder asymmetric weight block. Question:

Can the trident handle house shots?

4/4/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

You may be able to use this for a short period at the beginning of the night when the oil is the freshest but this will be a very strong backend hook and on a typical house shot it will dry up fairly quick in a league and you would need to move down to something that may not be quite as strong of a hook.

Question:

Looking at putting together a four ball arsenal so I can start being a little more equipped for tournament play. I intend on having the Alpha Jackal as a ball that I can confidently start with when oil is the heaviest. Would the Nemesis be a good selection for a step down? The Nemesis would be between the Jackal and Storm Hy Road that I am currently using. Any better suggestions would be welcome too.

Answer:

The Trident Nemesis would be a high performance ball designed to be very strong on medium to heavy oil and it will go longer than the Alpha Jackal but it would still be a pretty big step down from the Trident Nemesis to the Storm Hy-Road. You may want to go to something in the upper mid performance category to help step down from the high performance Jackal to the mid performance Hy-Road.

Question:

How does this ball compare to storm phase. 3

11/5/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball will have a stronger hook potential than the Phaze III and because of the stronger hook potential this ball can handle heavier oil better while the Phaze III was more for medium oil conditions. Both balls have good length and a strong backend hook.

Question:

what is pin top weight request

3/20/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you have a pin distance or top weight that you would like to request for the bowling ball we will let you type in this request. This can help if you have a specific drilling layout in mind or if you know what specifications have worked best for you in the past to ensure that you get a ball that matches up. If you are not sure what to request you could check with your driller or if you do not request the pin or top weight you will still get a ball with a pin and top weight in the first quality range.

Question:

How would the trident quest compare to the trident nemesis

6/5/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Both bowling balls had a pearl coverstock and the same polished finish out of the box. The weight block on the Nemesis is designed to read a little later than the Quest but because of this it will not have quite as much overall hook potential. So if you need a little more length then you may prefer the Nemesis but if you need a little stronger hook then the Quest may be a better option.
