Roto Grip Hustle HYB

In sports we are always told to hustle well now Roto Grip is providing a line of bowling balls that will do just that on the lanes. The Roto Grip Hustle HYB takes the renowned Hustle core which has a lower RG design and lower differential and pairs it with the VTC-H18 (Versatile Traction Control-Hybrid 18) core then is finished with a 3000-grit pad. This combination offers a smooth earlier midlane motion, with more stability down lane, and with more traction and is best on light to medium oil conditions.

  • Color: Black/Blue All colors do vary somewhat from the picture shown.

What a ball

The Hustle HYB has to be one of the best balls on the market for the price. I already had an Hustle Inc and my friend let me throw his Hyb and I was hooked right away. I had to drop a pound in weight because of some arm problems and I find myself getting better carry with my 14 lb Hyb than with my 15lb equipment. Give the Hyb a try , it will not disappoint.

Strike machine

This ball is strong like everyone says I haven't been bowling long so I can only compare it to my ebonite cyclone both are drilled similar I was getting 4 to 5 strikes now I get 6 to 7 if I miss I still get strikes this ball hits hard went from 178 to 234 as my high score with 9 strikes only been bowling for 2 months so I know I'm not consistent the ball just knocks them down I can play more of the lane and it's predictable thanks to the pro shop guy for recommending this ball and esp for the price can't go wrong

Bottom Line:

For the price it is the most powerful ball in my bag

I bought this ball less then a week ago and wow took it into tournament play the day after and rocked a 257 first game but over thought the lane change and switched to my soniq bad move went back to the hustle and came bad with a 230 plus.
The more I bowl the more comfortable I get I see a 300 coming soon with this in my bag..

Pros:
Excellent price point, Predictable midlane roll, Strong continuation
Cons:
None as of yet
Best Uses:
Fresh shot or even burnt
Bottom Line:

Can't believe it's an HP1 ball!!

This ball exceeded mine and my drillers expectations, we got it drilled to be a little stronger than my pitch black and weaker than the timeless to fill in my gap and the results were amazing. For the price point it's a steal, I was shooting 17 to 8 and it was still coming back with a vengance even in med - heavy oil. This ball is a must get for anyone looking for a cheap ball with great performance.
