Balls with Same Hook Potential, Lane Conditions and Coverstock as the Roto Grip Hustle Ink:

Roto Grip Hustle Ink

In sports we are always told to hustle well now Roto Grip is providing a ball that will do just that on the lanes. The Roto Grip Hustle Ink was designed to be different. This ball takes a low RG core and low differential to create a ball that will rev up faster but also offer more control down lane. The Thrilled Solid Reactive coverstock is perfect for light oil conditions where over-hooking can occur with more aggressive bowling balls.

Answer:

Personally I've found this ball to work best on dry-light oil conditions. I bowl at a house there very rarely puts any oil out and when they do it is medium. I got this ball to be a 2nd to 3rd game league ball for when they break down (they do oil before league) and it works very well for exactly that. The ball is very aggressive on the back end. I'd recommend you get it for a when the lanes are really broken down but Urethane isn't carrying.

Question:

Would this ball be a good compliment to the roto grip winner

3/15/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, this was a great ball to transition to from the Winner if you feel the Winner was getting too aggressive or reacting a little too strong. This has a similar reaction but is a little weaker hook and handles lighter oil better.

Question:

I am a little older should I be looking for a lighter Bowl

1/12/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

For the ball weight you should use a weight that you feel comfortable with but try to use the heaviest weight that you feel comfortable with so that you can still get good carry through on the pins and good pin action. The lighter you go the more the ball glances off the pins instead of driving through.

Question:

Would this be a good ball for dry lanes

9/30/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is rated for medium to light oil conditions. If the lanes are really dry then this will read the lanes too early and it will roll out too early and not finish like it is suppose to so we do not recommend this for very dry lanes.

Question:

Is this ball good for beginners?

11/20/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This would be a good option for someone starting out and it works well in lighter oil conditions. So if you bowl on an open bowling night the lanes will most likely be lighter oil. If you bowl in a league the lanes may start out with more oil but by the end of the night it will be lighter oil.

Question:

Is this ball good for me if I have low revs rate? If not, what ball should I get?!?!?

11/21/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball has good length and will have a decent backend hook on lighter oil conditions. If you have a high ball speed and low rev rate then this would not be a good option because it may react too late. You would need something that started to read more in the midlane in that case. If your ball speed is average to low then you could use this ball and be fine with it in lighter conditions and possibly some drier conditions.

Question:

CANT THE HUSTLE REPLACE HAMMER REVEL YELL

3/11/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Hustle line is actually going to be slightly less hook potential than the Hammer Rebel Yell had. You may would prefer to try the MVP series to better match the hook potential of the Hammer Rebel series.
