The Roto Grip Hy-Wire bowling ball pairs the successful Middle Roll 70 core with a 62M Hybrid Reactive coverstock that has been finished with a 1500-grit pad and polished. This combination provides midlane motion but stores plenty of energy to get through the pin deck. The hybrid coverstock helps this ball get through the front of the lane like a pearl bowling ball but also creates control at the breakpoint of the lane. Out of the box this ball is best paired with medium oiled lanes.
Right out of the box it shot 736 series. This ball goes long, hits hard, and is smooth through the pocket. Would of shot better but a couple of mistakes be me with a new ball. I will take 736 out of the box. Thank you Mikes Pro Shop in Ardin Hills Minnesota for drilling it. Hywire goes long but makes it back to the pocket.
This ball just keeps going when it gets to the backend but so smoothly. It hits like a truck
Out of the box I rolled three games to get used to it and dial in, my fourth games was a 276. Needless to say I was impressed with it. I've been bowling about a year, and this is my best score so far. This ball has good control in the mid lane and rolls in good on the far end. I'm happy with it.
Right out of the box took me a 2 games to warm up to the ball and see how adapted to the lane and see that it hooked hard and the end. Once you calculate a proper projection hopefully you will get nine strikes like I did,
