Storm Drive

Storm continues their Signature series of bowling balls with the Storm Drive. This ball uses the R2S Nano Hybrid coverstock wich was designed to handle more oil at the heads and at the completion of the pattern. This ball offers predictability where it is needed, at the midlane. The Dual-Drive core continues to offer great entry angle. The Dual-Drive core is a weight block within a weight block. These two weight blocks work together to create a ball core that generates faster revving action and a greater amount of energy transmission at the pins.

Great for two handers

It is an amazing ball. I have bowled with it for about a month now and I have seen my average go up dramatically. I bowled with it when the lane had no oil on it and it always hooked into the gutter. It needs a lane with at least a little oil on it. For dryer lanes I would stay behind the ball and for slicker lanes more on the outside of the ball for releases.

That'sounds a big yes!

I own the code black, sure lock, timeless, and recently purchased the drive. Ball speed avg. 13.5- 14.1 tweener 190 avg. Best ball yet, and reads the lanes well. Biggest change I've noticed from my other balls is the drive must have oil. I am bowling much deeper as the lanes transition, but as long as I stay in the oil it finds the pocket, and hits like a freight train. I am also finding that I have more boards to play with, so getting it out isn't a big deal, it will normally make it back to the pocket. Awesome awesome awesome 675 first time out of box. Pin is up above ring finger, and pap is 5" and 1 9/16 up. Definitely stronger than the Timeless, and more predictable than the sure lock, and code black.

This ball DRIVEs the pocket

Extremely happy with my purchase. Right out of the box I threw 224 225 218
The mid-lane on the ball is very predictable and I love that. A really strong back end was just what I needed

The Drive can handle it all

The Drive works great for all patterns because it has such a predictable roll. I would consider this ball to be benchmark of higher end equipment. It will allow you to play your game and move in normal patterns throughout the night like 1-1 and 2-1 moves before your opponents netting you a better series thoughout the night of a better overall tournament average. The ball is definitely an improvement over the timeless. Highly recommended.

Absolutely a must buy bowling ball

After purchasing a timeless I never gave up on the ball I did everything I possibly could to try and get it to roll good but nothing seemed to work so my expectations for this ball weren't too high but once I got one punched out I was amazed with how well this ball rolls ! In my opinion this is what the timeless should have been in the first place. Definitely the hottest ball out rn
