The Pitch Black will be more aggressive since it is a solid coverstock whereas the Fever Pitch is a pearl coverstock meaning it will have more length than the Pitch Black.

Question:

Is this ball good for straighter bowlers too? Or would the Pitch Black be better?

6/6/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball will have a medium hook for it is a Mid performance ball. If you need something that bowls straight, then a spare ball would work better for they bowl straight.

Question:

I've had M/S for more than 24 years now & its changed my bowling game a lot. Especially my ball speed, it is now in the mid 10's to the mid 11's. I do own a Pitch Blue with the pin above my left finger hole & I'm right handed. I use the Pitch Blue when there is plenty of oil on the lanes, would the Fever Pitch be a good ball for me ?

11/3/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

There is not a huge difference from the Pitch Blue to the Fever Pitch. The biggest change they mention is that the Fever Pitch corners a little stronger than the Pitch Blue but if you wanted to have something slightly less aggressive than your Pitch Blue so you can use it more on the lighter conditions you could try one of the Storm Mix balls. They are also made to go longer on the lanes too which can help if your ball speed is slowing down some. I hope this helps.

Question:

I'm a beginner with a straight bowl. Will this weight distribution fade the ball one way or another down the lane, or will it stay true to release direction?

12/27/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you do not spin the ball this ball will stay pretty straight. There is not enough features on the ball to make it hook on its own so it requires you to spin the ball to get hook.

Question:

Would this ball be good for a medium speed bowler with a high rev rate??

3/5/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you are having trouble with reactive bowling balls being too aggressive you could try this ball because the urethane cover will not react as strong as the reactive coverstocks do.
