The Storm Match Pearl is a go to ball when you don't need a high performance ball with tons of technology and reaction. The medium RG and flare potential of the Stinger Core allow this ball to work with a variety of styles. If you are looking to control your roll pattern and your ball reaction then this core shape will help. The Reactor Pearl Reactive coverstock has been on Storm bowling balls for over 10 years and has proven itself again and again. The coverstock formula on this ball provides durability and backend reaction. This ball may just be a Match made in heaven (or Utah).
I drilled it 50x4x70 and it snaps like no other ball I've thrown to date. I had my IQ Tour Pearl drilled the same way and the Match Pearl snaps even harder than the IQ. This really caught me off guard. I found that I need to keep the speed up in order to throw this ball.

I looked forward to these two balls to help fill a hole in my bag between my Ride and my IQ Tour 30. The match Pearl is a great choice when the Tour30 becomes too strong and starts to burn up. Very clean in the heads a much more control down lane. I drilled my Match pearl 3.5 by 4.5 was the same layout I used on my Phaze. This is a great choice to add to your bag if your looking for something for dryer lanes and you still want that pop in the backend.
Ball reacts great on back in
I will be bowling with this ball at the world-cup in China 2016 and looking for the same great results
Just bought two new bowling balls, the storm sky rocket and storm match. First is for medium oil, second for light oil. On league night the lanes start at medium oil. I usually bowl about 150 to 180 average wise. Used for the first time today in practice. Started with medium oil ball and bowled a 138 and 158. Then i realized the lanes had not been freshly oiled. So turns out the lanes were light oil. Then I started to use the Storm Match and bowled a 249 and 206. This is no tap where 9 counts as a strike but both scores are still very good. So I am very happy with the new balls!!
I use the ball in my bowling leagues
