Can be shot straight or hooked a bit

Best Uses:

Spare or beginner ball

Bottom Line:

Excellent software ball, nice dry condition action too.

The urethane cover gives it more hom potential than a polyester cover.
This can be enhanced via drill pattern.
Mine is drilled for spare. But I can also be drilled pin up for more hook on drier conditions.
This is an excellent ball for the beginner just learning how to control a ball and league bowlers looking for a good spare ball.

Storm Mix Great Addition

I purchased the Storm Mix to shoot spares. I've gotten it drilled and used it last week in league. It works just as advertised, straight shot right at spares. Now all I have to do is be accurate!

Spare Ball?

I use this as my strike ball with my 14.5 mph speed/mid rev rate. It's really useful and it gets the job done properly. As a high school student, and this being my first ball, this is absolutely the way to go for anybody starting to bowl

Question:

What ball would you recommend for a bowler with very little speed on the ball on dry lanes?

2/14/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is a spare ball so it would work for dry lanes with a bowler having a low speed. It will not have a hook and will bowl straight. Any spare ball will work for this.

Question:

I've looked around for urethane balls and found thsee and the pithes to be the only from storm as a low performance as a two handed bowler with high revs do you think i could minupulate this ball into a low performing hook ball on dry lanes?

8/8/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, this may be one of your only options for lighter to drier lanes if you have a high rev rate. The only option with less hook than the Storm Mix would be a plastic spare ball. The Mix has a urethane cover which gives it just a slightly higher hook potential than a plastic spare ball but with your rev rate it could be a decent strike ball in drier conditions.
