Storm Parallax Effect

Storm Parallax Effect

Every aspect of the Storm Parallax Effect supports the dynamic performance of this high-performance bowling ball. This ball introduces the Pearl version of the TractionX7 coverstock. The TractionX7 combines all of the best features found in Storm's seven most popular coverstocks to date. This coverstock offers durability, backend, slower oil absorption as well as versatility. This dynamic core surrounds the Aeroflo Core. This core features an ellipsed hole that is filled with lighter core material which creates a higher RG than usually found in asymmetric bowling balls. A flip block at the bottom of the core creates a high total differential. This ball offers a little more length, backend, and entry angle than its predecessor but a little less mid-lane reaction when on heavy oil.

Question:

I have an idol synergy and just ordered a parallax effect. How would the 2 compare?

5/14/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Parallax Effect will have slightly more length than the Idol Synergy but it will have a much stronger backend hook. Because it has a stronger backend hook the Parallax Effect is more suited to work in heavier oil while the Idol Synergy is more for medium oil conditions.

Question:

Do you have heavy 14 #?

8/15/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

We do not typically have the balls very heavy over the listed weight. If you select 14lbs then the weight usually falls between 14lbs even to 14lbs 4oz a large majority of the time. If you wanted something heavier you may request for the exact weight by entering this in the Pin/Top weight box and we can check for an option that you want.

Question:

can you use this ball on house shots?

9/23/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This is a very high performance ball and usually required heavier oil conditions. If your house shot has a lot of oil then you could use this but if the lanes are more medium to lighter oil then this ball would be too aggressive to use.

Question:

compare the parallax effect with the ufo alert

1/4/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Both bowling balls will be very very similar but the biggest difference being that the Parallax Effect has a pearl coverstock which will go a little longer than the Hybrid coverstock on the UFO Alert. The weight blocks have similar strength and they have the same finish out of the box.

Question:

i have two questions? the first question is how does this compare to the phaze 4 and the second question is will the phase 4 be good ball with the parallax effect?

3/13/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Parallax Effect will have a higher hook potential which will help it work better in heavier oil while the Phaze 4 is more designed for medium oil. The Phaze 4 would be a good ball to use when the lanes transition and your Parallax Effect starts hooking too much or too early.
