Storm Phaze 4

The Storm Phaze 4 continues the success of the popular Phaze series of upper-mid performance bowling balls. This ball contains a strong Velocity Core with a low RG making it one of the most aggressive symmetrical bowling balls to date. This ball offers more revs, more power, and more control while maintaining consistency. Question:

Will it hit as hard as phase II

1/16/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is designed to have a sharper backend hook than the Phaze II so this could help the ball carry better and get more pin action. This ball would be more suited for medium oil while the Phaze II was more for medium to heavy oil so you may not get as much hook with this in heavier oil.

Question:

PhaseIV or altered reality- better for carry down?

1/17/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Because both balls are a pearl cover and a polished finish they may struggle with carry down if the oil gets in the backend of the lane. You may do better to get a ball that more of a duller finish so it can grip even if there is oil on the backend.

Question:

I absolutely love my Phase 3. What is the difference between the 3 and the 4?

1/21/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The only difference would be that the Phaze 4 has a pearl coverstock versus the Phaze 3 has a hybrid coverstock. So the pearl cover on the Phaze 4 will give you a little more length and a little sharper backend hook.

How does the Phaze 4 compare to the Spectre?

2/5/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are very close but the Phaze 4 will have a slightly stronger hook potential than the Spectre which makes the Phaze 4 upper mid performance versus the Spectre which is mid performance.

Question:

whats the dofference between the phaze 4 and the uc3

2/17/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

There are a lot of differences on these two bowling balls. The Phaze 4 has a Pearl Reactive coverstock with a polished finish to give it good length and a sharp backend hook. The UC3 has a Urethane Pearl coverstock with a duller finish so it will read earlier on the lanes for a smoother hook. Reactive coverstocks tend to give you more hook potential while urethane coverstocks tend to be a little less hook but more controllable.

Question:

How does this ball compare to the 900 Global Zen?

2/17/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Phaze 4 is an upper mid performance ball designed for mostly medium oil conditions so it will not be quite as strong as the Zen Pearl which is a high performance ball designed for medium to heavy oil. Both have good length because they are both pearl coverstocks and a polished finish but the Zen is a stronger ball.
