Answer:

We are not able to check for the specs on the X-Out bowling balls so it could be any of the reasons we listed above. It could be the pin or top weight so if you need anything specific on the specs you would have to select the first quality option.

Answer:

We are not able to see the exact weights on the ball before an order is placed. Because this ball is an X-out it could have an irregular weight. An example of this would be if you ordered 15lbs, the ball might be 14lbs 13oz which is just shy of being 15lbs. There could be different reasons for the X-Out but that is one of the reasons it could be considered X-Out.

The X-out balls will have a blemish or imperfection that keeps it from being first quality. Here are some of the reasons the ball could be an X-out: BALL MAY BE AN IRREGULAR WEIGHT, CONTAIN IRREGULAR PIN OR TOP-WEIGHT, OR MAY HAVE A SLIGHT SURFACE BLEMISH

Question:

How does this compare to the Roto Grip Halo? Which ball reads and hooks more, respectively?

Answer:

They are very comparable bowling balls. Both have a 2000 grit finish and both are high performance balls to give you a high hook potential. I may give a very slight edge to the Precision Solid being just a little stronger hook because it shows a little stronger weight block and it handles heavy oil only while the Halo can do medium to heavy oil.
