Track Tundra Solid

Track Tundra Solid

The Track Tundra Solid is ideal when you need to cool the lanes down. The coverstock and core for this ball offer great control when it is needed. The Track Symmetric core has a high RG and low differential that allows the ball to retain energy longer and offer a smooth, controllable down lane motion. The QR-4 Solid coverstock found on this ball matches up well with the Track Symmetric core. With a 3000 grit sanded finish this ball doesn't have a hard time on the front of the lanes and still has ample traction when facing light to medium oil conditions.

Question:

How would the Tundra compare to the Storm Hy-Road Pearl or Nano? Thanks!

11/2/2018 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The difference between the Tundra Solid and the Hy-Road Pearl is that the coverstocks will be different. One is a solid and the other is a pearl. The difference between the Tundra Solid and the Nano is that the lane conditions are going to be different. The Nano will have medium oily lane conditions and the Tundra Solid is for light to medium oiled lane conditions.

Question:

I am a high rev guy with low speed. Will this work

7/3/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

If you are rev dominant then typically you would want a ball that goes longer on the lanes before it breaks. This ball has a duller finish out of the box to help it read earlier and without knowing all of the details and just going by your high rev low speed I would not suggest this ball. You may look for a pearl or a polished finish ball to help.

Question:

I am a two handed bowler and I've been looking for another ball that is great on drier lanes and I wanted to know if this would be a great ball to use my rev rate is high and i throw about 16-17mph

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball shows to work well on medium to lighter oil so you could use this. Most two handed bowlers have a high rev rate but you also have a good speed to match that so this ball would read in the midlane and have a smooth hook down the lane.

Question:

I have a 14lb Track Tundra and am considering getting this ball and having both drilled the same. How will this effect the ball reaction?

1/20/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

I am not sure what drilling pattern you have or were going to use on this but just comparing the Tundra to the Tundra Solid you will see that the Tundra Solid reads the lanes much earlier and has a smoother arc hook. The Tundra was designed to go longer on the lanes for a sharper backend hook.

Question:

Would the 13# ball have the same core as the heavier ball?

3/27/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Unfortunately the weight block does change when you go below 14lbs so the 13lb will be a generic weight block.

Question:

Do you have this ball in a mid to heavy 14lb?

5/9/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

We no longer show to have 14lbs in stock unfortunately. Of the weights we show in stock we are not able to see the exact number of ounces that the ball will be over the listed weight but you can request this in the specs box and we will do our best find a ball that matches your request.
