One side of the lanes are very slippery. S2 works well. Other side of lanes are normal or not as slippery, S6 works well. Comforting to know that slipping and sliding days are over. I also so had a pair of SST 6's prior even prior to those mentioned previously and I have to say the SS8 is by far the best Bowling shoe I have ever worn. I have been bowling since 1962. When i got the SST 8's i was skeptical cause the left/right hand thing, but it doesnt impair the flexibilty of sole changing at all. great shoe for a great price. i'll never stray away from dexter again. buy with confidence! I'm sure with the multiple combinations of slides and breaks that I would have been able to get them to my liking. The short time I had them on my feet they felt extremely stiff compared the the SST5's I've been using. I have been using Dexter bowling shoes for 10 years and have always wore a 9 1/2. Ordered these in 9 1/2 and they were a 1/2 size to a full size too big. Sure wish Dexter was consitant with their sizing. So when ordering beware, they run big. Was this review helpful to you?
