They are not true to size - I've always worn 6 1/2 but I had to return these shoes for a size 6 shoe. The tongue is padded and the shoe is comfortable but a bit snug which I like and it's lightweight! The only con is that the shoe isn't as slippery/smooth as I'm used to. She owns a similar pair that she uses during her bowling league. She says they work well, and should feel tight on your feet, so that they feel as one with your foot.
