Perfect Ball for a Beginner By The Book from Palo Alto, CA
Reviewed on: 5/3/2010
Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Great Weight Best Uses:Upgrade, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Casual Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend My previous ball (second hand) was a 14lb StarTrak Force 10 from college. I wanted a new ball that had the same hook potential but also one pound lighter. I also wanted something inexpensive since I only bowl casually with co-workers during our lunch hour. When I brought this in to be drilled, the guy at the local pro shop said that this ball was junk and for about $30 I could have gotten a better ball from him. That may be true but this ball matched my previous ball perfectly! It has the same hook and because I got the lighter weight, I am able to control it much better. I bowled my first 200 (206) game with this ball. My average has also shot up by at least 30 pins. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
