- Description: With a commitment to innovative core design development, it’s no wonder that Storm continues to push the envelope with shapes like the C.A.M. and Centripetal weight blocks. While the Invasion is developed for the heaviest of oil patterns, oil depletes quickly as proven by Kegel and Storm in a cooperative seminar series earlier this year. So, the goal of the new Anarchy is to develop a high-end strong asymmetrical that is clean through the heads and turns over sharp at the break point, even for bowlers without all the revs of the tour guys. With 25 years of experience in coverstock chemistry starting with U-Clean U-Score™, Storm is the industry leader of high performance bowling balls. Premier Line balls like the new Anarchy all feature strong asymmetrical shapes that are engineered from concepts different from the “industry standard.” It’s what sets Storm apart from the competition. Looking at the Origin core, we find a strong asymmetrical design that is dynamic and contoured to maximize usability. Wrapping the Origin core with R3X coverstock material, the shell is designed to maximum surface texture which increases overall ball motion. The polished finish of the new Anarchy ensures a glide through the heads and strong backend motion that we all love. In conclusion, Storm continues to develop innovative technology combined with fine workmanship. That’s why we are “The Bowler’s Company.”

Great Ball, Don't Be Fooled By Them. By Anthony from Louisville, KY
Reviewed on: 3/19/2011
Verified Reviewer Pros:Good All Rounder, Quick and Powerful Snap, A Lot of Hook, Smooth Best Uses:Recreational, League, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I bowl league with around a 160-180 average. I have the ball in a 15lb weight drilled for maximum hook and throw stroker style. This ball has to be one of the best I've ever bowled with. It has plenty of hook on the back-end and then some. It's easy to figure out how to throw this ball and aim it. I did so in about 10 games, including pick-up shots. Now some of these other reviews make me laugh. People complaining because their brand-new ball can't get the score for them on the first game they've bowled with it that they are used to. It's a new ball, you WILL have to learn it. You can't expect to go out and nail it first try. That's a rookie mistake and very misleading. This ball is made for medium to heavy oil mind you. Once the lanes start getting below that, you will have to adjust your position and throw, this thing will catch and run like an escaped convict on dry lanes. I do suggest that if you plan on buying this ball that you WIPE it while playing and clean it using the reactive surface cleaner that Storm has. It will begin to lose it's hook if you go a while without taking care of it as the surface will gunk up, as with ANY ball. This is the problem that most of the other reviewers are having trouble with in it not catching in heavy oil after a bunch of games. Take care of your ball, which is easy and not time consuming, and it will take care of you on the lanes. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

I like the Anarchy By Georg from Orlando,Fl
Reviewed on: 1/9/2012
Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:Beginner Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I am a beginner who just buy the Anarchy. I have used it with both hands and with one hand. With two hands I find it rather aggressive but you have to throw over 18mph. With one hand 14.00mph shot and is not as aggressive as when shooting with two hands. I like the color combination especially bronze and blue. I recommend this ball. Was this review helpful to you? Drilled the pin out By KC from brooksvile Florida
Reviewed on: 2/28/2011
Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Comfortable Grip Cons:Should of bought the 16lb Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend A good ball on oily lanes and my best game is always the third game after the lane condtions change. I had the pin drilled out and it goes down long and comes back hard. Its a pretty good ball that is predictable for me. I know exactly where its going when I release the ball. When I am broken then I adjust me not the ball. My only down fall is that I stepped down to a 15lb because the proshop did not have a 16lb in stock. Was this review helpful to you? Too much hype with little bang By Huya from Norwalk Ca.
Reviewed on: 1/23/2011
Verified Reviewer Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend Product was advertised as a heavy oil ball. This ball slides more than it grabs. I have an Nv and a Black Widow that grabs more in the oil. Yet this shows a higher oil rating ball. Would not recommend the ball for heavy oil conditions. Was this review helpful to you? The Verdict is Still Out By Detour Dave from Philadelphia, Mississippi
Reviewed on: 1/17/2011
Verified Reviewer Pros:Good grip, Looks good Cons:Not sure Bottom Line: I have been bowling since I was 7 years old and have bowled on almost all levels of competition. I am the assistant manager of a brand new center so I get a lot of time on our lanes. However, I am not sure the Anarchy is up to all the hype. Before I purchased this ball I read every review I could find, and not just on this site. After reading all the reviews and studying the characteristics of this ball, and after 3 months of contemplation I went ahead and bought the Anarchy and had it drilled. I don't know if it is just me needing to learn how to best roll this ball, or if the ball really is no better than my trusty Ebonite Turbo XL, but my first time out with this ball I rolled a 3-game average of 156. I usually bowl in the 185-195 range, depending upon oil conditions. Right now, I can't make any recommendations. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Wicked Carry By Tevis from Lincoln IL
Reviewed on: 3/5/2012
Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I got this ball back when I had some trouble with my release and wasnt able to get anything to move much. For that the ball was great, my release blew but this thing didnt care and it snapped anyway. The pin carry on this ball is almost obnoxious, you hit the pocket, they go down, period. However, my release does not suck anymore. Now that I have a good release, I do not throw this ball. I have it drilled to come back as little as possible, it still comes back to hard. I am a very high rev player so this just does not work for me. The ball is still great though, for anybody that doesnt crank to hard this is probably the ball for you. The house I bowl in is notoriously bad about oil, and just to put this all into perspective for you I have watched them lay double the normal amount of oil on a lane. (for back to back leagues where they do not oil in between) After they laid their foolish amount of oil I threw my anarchy in practice, then put it back in the bag I just cannot control the thing. Still a good ball just to much bite for my preference. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Fantastic ball! By Tevis from Lincoln IL
Reviewed on: 1/19/2012
Verified Reviewer Pros:Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Cons:Perhaps to Much Bite Best Uses:Tournaments, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I use this ball as my main ball in my leagues and for fun. The ball is fantastic, it rolls beautifully and has major breaking potential. My only complaint about the ball is that if the lanes are dry... even a little, this things is hard to keep on the right side. I have a lot of trouble with slowing down my revs, so if this is no problem for you dont worry about it. However, I have found myself standing in the next lane to keep the angle I need... otherwise I overshoot every shot. That said assuming there is a reasonable amount of oil this is not much of problem, I love this ball! Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.
