I wanted interchangeable sliding surfaces, so I went with these shoes. It came with a #4, 6, and 8 in the box. I tried the #8, but slid too much, so I am currently using the #6 and love it! Yes, that is how good my earlier pair was. Took time getting use to the higher heel style since my last pair was a low heel style. Didn't fit in my carry type bowling bag, so had to get a new roller (actually planned). I am up to the #8 sole and I still tend to stop short. They could improve the sole options by adding a #10.
