Refinishing a coverstock can sometimes take several steps and include sanding the coverstock and applying polish. This product is meant to just be one step in that you just apply the polish to the ball and it is good to go. If you need your bowling ball to go longer and be smoother on the backend when lanes are hooking, apply this polish and it should help give you more length and tames down some of the overall hook.
