Don't let the laugh fool you. Madison Bailey means business when it comes to bowling.

This summer, then 12-year-old Bailey made bowling history when she became the first 12 and Under Girls Junior National Bowling Champion.

"Wow, I'm the first under twelve girls champion ever...that title can't be taken away," exclaims 13-year-old Bailey.

In the video above, hear Bailey describe the fierce competition she faced during the tournament.

While she may be a whiz at bowling now, Bailey's first love was competitive dance. That is, until she tore her meniscus and had to have knee surgery. Her parents told her that her dancing days were over and to try a new sport. Luckily, she was able to apply what she had developed in her dances lessons to the bowling alley.

"Her game is so strong physically because of the dance. She has a lot of great skills those other girls just haven't developed," says Bailey's coach Debbie Haggerty.

So far, Bailey has earned more than $6,000 in scholarship money through bowling. However, her goal is to earn a full-ride to one of several universities that offer bowling scholarships.

Her dad can't believe that she is already interested in college.

"Well, I tell her, if she gets her college scholarship, a full ride to any school, I'll go buy her any car she wants," dad Wood Bailey says.

Bailey admits she likes to watch college bowling on TV for inspiration and ideas on where to go to school. Her coach thinks Bailey's dreams are within her reach.

"There is no limit for her," says Haggerty.
