With our PBA season getting ready to unfold soon, the European Bowling Tour has been well under way. With that being said, most of the big names we are used to head over to Europe to keep their skills up to their standard and of course make a little cash as well. Marshall Kent may not be the biggest name to most of you, yet! He is sure making a case for him self by not only representing Team USA but by winning the Russian Open. That win is Marshall's first ever EBT title. That title was won in Cosmic Belay Dacha in Moscow, Russia. In qualifing he dominated by firing games of 264, 222, 248, 223, 243 and 278 to win the qualifying with 1478 total. Which gave him an average of 246.33, which the next closet person to him was Andrey Suslov who shot 1417(236.17 avg). Kent just continued his outstanding bowling in the stepladders. The final match was won by Kent 419-323. Sadly that 419 was Kent's lowest 2 games back-to-back bowled that weekend. I would take 209.5 average for my low! By winning the Russian Open, Kent took home 5,500 Euros! Nice pay day for a weekend worth of work! Keep an eye out for this future superstar in the game of bowling!

Marshall Kent Dominates Russian Open! The 2012 European Bowling Tour is made up of 20 events in 16 countries including two Platinum, four Gold, seven Silver and seven Satellite tournaments.

The top 50 men and the top 50 women in each event earn ranking points based on how they finish in the event. The winner of a Platinum tournament receives 250 ranking points, the winner of a Gold tournament gets 150, the winner of a Silver tournament such as the BNC Open earns 100, and the winner of a Satellite tournament gets 50 ranking points.

Those points will be tabulated throughout the season to determine the top 16 men and top 16 women who will compete in the sixth EBT Masters, which will be held Sept. 30, 2013 at BNC Bowling Center in Bratislava immediately following the 2013 BNC Open (Sept. 23-29).
