The XBowling Intercollegiate Team and Singles Championships will return to familiar sites in 2016 and 2018 and be held in a convention-center setting in 2017 as the host cities have been determined for the premier events of the collegiate bowling season.

The 2016 events will take place April 18-23 at Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas, while the 2017 tournaments will be contested at the Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from April 17-22. The 2018 events will be held April 16-21 at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Northrock Lanes also is hosting the 2015 ITC and ISC from April 13-18, and the trip in 2016 will mark the ITC's sixth visit to the 48-lane facility (1999, 2000, 2007, 2008, 2015).

The Baton Rouge River Center also will be the home of the 2017 United States Bowling Congress Women's Championships. It will mark the third time the ITC has shared a specially-constructed venue with the world's largest participatory sporting event for women (2010 - El Paso, Texas; 2014 - Reno, Nevada).

Sun Valley Lanes hosted both the ITC and ISC in 2012 and 2013, and the 32-lane center will prepare for the 2018 events by welcoming the top youth bowlers from around the world at the 2016 World Youth Championships.

"These three cities continually have shown their support and dedication to the sport of bowling," said USBC Executive Director Chad Murphy. "We are excited to bring the Intercollegiate Team and Singles Championships to these venues and showcase the next generation of stars in our sport."

The ITC features the top 16 men's and top 16 women's team competing for the Kerm Helmer Cup, which is awarded to the tournament champions. The ISC brings together the top 24 men and top 16 women to compete for individual national titles.

Teams and individuals qualify for each event at one of four sectionals held throughout the country each year.
