Parker Bohn III Wins First Career EBT Title

Brunswick’s Parker Bohn III, a 33-time Professional Bowlers Association Tour champion, won his first career title on the European Bowling Tour when he defeated Joonas Jehkinen of Finland in all-lefty affair, 255-218, to win the BNC Open at BNC Bowling Center in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Bohn, who earned more than $2.8 million in 29 years on the PBA Tour, received 7.000 Euro or approximately $9,465 for the victory.

The PBA and USBC Hall of Famer, and two-time PBA player of the Year (1999, 2001-02), averaged 252.75 in the Round of 16 to earn the No. 1 seed for the six-player stepladder finals.

The BNC Open was the 14th event of the 2013 European Bowling Tour and the fifth and penultimate of EBT “Gold” tournament this season. The BNC Open ran from Sept. 23-29 at the Brunswick-equipped, 16-lane BNC Bowling Center and offered total prize fund of 62.000 Euro.
