Team USA's Chris Barnes and Kelly Kulick earned the gold medals Tuesday in the inaugural World Tenpin Bowling Association World Singles Championships in Limassol, Cyprus.

Not only did they deal with time change along with environment change, but also to faced the best of the best from 44 different countries and come out on top is nothing but an honor in its self.

Team USA's Kelly Kulick(gold medal) defeated Lativa's Diana Zavjalova(silver medal 228-226! Kelly needed the first two strikes in tenth frame then a nine count to win and came through with all three strikes in the tenth!

Chris Barnes(gold medal) defeated Tommy Jones(silver medal) both Team USA members, 212-198! Tommy Jones struggled with ball reaction early in the match and never caught back in to Barnes in time.

The WTBA World Championships for men and women will take place in 2013 in Las Vegas, while the WTBA World Men's Championships will be held in 2014 and the WTBA World Women's Championships will take place in 2015, both in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The cycle begins again in 2016 with the second World Singles Championships.
