- Description: Storm is known for producing the best high performance balls on the market. When the Virtual Gravity was released in 2008, it not only turned heads but gave bowlers of all skill levels an unprecedented amount of hook on even the oiliest lanes imaginable. The new Virtual Gravity Nano is intended to create a similar yet stronger ball motion built specifically for heavy oil. This can be accomplished with either a stronger coverstock (texture) or more aggressive weight block (lower radius of gyration or increased differential). As the original Virtual Gravity quickly became Storm‟s all-time best seller, the new Nano is sure to follow in its footsteps...and yes, those are big shoes to fill! Looking at the original Virtual Gravity, the Shape-Lock HD weight block/core system produced a fast-revving action that especially helped bowlers looking for a stronger change of direction usually privy to only those with big rev rates! The Shape-Lock HD motor will continue to power the Nano as well. A breakthrough in coverstock technology rarely happens due to the complex nature of chemistry and polymer science. But Storm's research and development team is committed to maintaining the "pole position" in bowling innovation, so it's no surprise that we are changing the game yet again with the new NRG cover. With Nanotechnology, NRG will give bowlers increased oil traction due to the micro-dynamic enhancements of the surface. Just looking at the surface of the new NRG material shows you the increased surface texture between the peaks and valleys, as well as the more aggressive edges on the top of the peaks! We're continuing to push the envelope; we just hope you are ready for it.

Verified Reviewer Pros:Great Weight, Attractive Design Best Uses:Upgrade, Tournaments Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This is one of the strongest yet reliable balls I have thrown. It reads early and gives a strong consistent read down the lane. This ball is worth its weight in gold. As the lanes breakdown, it eats through the carry down and still finds its way to the pocket. This is a hospital ball because its SICK By BADD MFKA from Merriam, KS

Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Comfortable Grip, Flawless Surface, Great Weight Cons:Needs plenty oil, Roll it don't throw it Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend My wife bought me this for being a "great husband" and she may have created a monster. This ball is unbelieveable! Out of the box during practice i bowled 4 games and shot 232, 286, 217, 201. The 286 was 10 in a row and like an idiot i let up on the ball and that's a no-no for an aggresive ball like this. The 201 was because of a missed 10 pin in the 10th, which was my only miss of the 4 games. That's the longest i've ever gone before my 1st miss. This ball is mean, and eats pins for dinner. Get it while its hot! As the lanes break down move left and/or shine it up and watch em fall. This compliments my arsenal of balls. I already have a virtual gravity and Brunswick twisted fury. Can't wait to use this at the National's. Thank you, Storm...u did it again! Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Another Great Ball By Storm!!! By Greg W. from Fort Sill, OK
Reviewed on: 3/7/2011
Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design, Great Weight Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I Bowl on a friday night league on a white roller 2 oil pattern and this ball really reads the lane well. I had the Nano(14lbs)drilled for the most aggressive layout since im a high reving bowler and once this ball clears the oil down the lane get ready to watch this ball hook right into the pocket. I bowled a 246 on my first game right out the box. My orginal virtual gravity reacts well on this type of pattern but not like the nano with this new cover stock. I was able to still use this ball when the lanes start to breakdown all you have to do is start stepping to the left if your a right hand bowler to give your self more lane to play with. Verified Reviewer Pros:Flawless Surface, Great Weight, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I have not thrown Storm equipment since the Eraser, have been mainly with Roto Grip and Hammer. I wanted to find something more aggressive that turned up hard and I found it. I had it drilled with the pin 1/2 inch above the ring finger and polished it before trying it out and WOW, it got down the lane and turned to the pocket with authority. I have never had a ball roll so hard through the pins, its continuation was wonderful. I never had a problem with the ball recovering unless I just threw it bad, it is very forgiving. I love it !!! Unverified Pros:Great Weight, Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip, Attractive Design Cons:Have not found any Best Uses:Tournaments, Local Bowling Alley, Upgrade Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend 3 league combined avg: 201 Have bowled only 6 games with it and averaging about 212. Being a speed dominate bowler (average: 17.0 - 17.5 mph), a down and in stroker, this ball recovers from almost any where. Even when I hit light, it mixes them well, and I leave very few 10 pins with this ball, which for me is an absolute plus. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

This Ball will HOOK By MeetMrMet from Norfolk, Va
Reviewed on: 5/29/2011
Verified Reviewer Pros:Attractive Design, Flawless Surface, Comfortable Grip, Great Weight Best Uses:Local Bowling Alley Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This ball WILL HOOK! I have a 185 average and threw a 679 first time I used it. The 2nd time I used it was during a "no tap" tourney where the lanes were very very wet and this ball tore right through the oil. Had a no tap 300 my first game with 10 real strikes and 2 frames hanging the 10 pin. However, I used it on lanes that weren't as oily the 3rd and 4th time out and I couldn't control it. I get alot of hand behind the ball and am finding it impossible to keep on the right side of the 1 pin if the lanes are any sort of dry. Will prob have to take it to the pro shop and see what they can do for me. When the ball does hit, it hits like a truck. Was this review helpful to you? Yes / No- You may also flag this review.

Nano By Cmsubowler from Connecticut
Reviewed on: 9/9/2011
Verified Reviewer Describe Yourself:League Bowler Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Hello all and thanks for reading. First of all here is the link you can see my video review of the Virtual Gravity Nano:[@]What can I say that isn't good about this ball?? Not much. This ball loves oil and maintains angularity no matter how far inside you need to be. It takes extremely well to surface change and is very easy to maintain coverstock strength just by following the Storm Instructions. Send the ball out and it reads the dry and maintains a strong arc back to the pocket. Tug it inside and it maintains hitting power and angularity at the breakpoint. Hit your spot dead on and just walk back to a chair and sit down cause there will not be anything left standing up. Great for higher balls speeds and/or lower rev rates but this ball can be utilized by all types of players. Comparing to the Marvel (which I know is a different core) you can plainly how the ball continues off the drier boards to the outside yet still maintains angularity when left in the oil. The Marvel is a much smoother reaction on the back part of the lane while the Nano is a much sharper reaction. Enjoy this one and look forward to future Coverstock performance coming out of the Storm factory. Great Job and Keep it up..... we all know you will. Was this review helpful to you?
