Love this shoe but watch out for theft accusations
Bought for Kids Bowl Free program Some bowling alleys will literally almost attack you for wearing these shoes. They claim they are stolen from their stock and they will try and confiscate the shoes... thankfully I had the receipts on my emails saved from the online purchase proving I didn't steal them. Just a fair warning to be careful when buying rental shoes.

I would recommend these for everyone!
I love the Classic Style of this shoe. These shoes are true to size if you have a wide foot. I am a true 7 wide. I have been buying 8.5 standards most of my life, but these are very comfortable and affordable.

I definitely recommend these shoes!!!
I am a true 7 wide, for years I thought I wore a size 8.5, but I was always wearing standard width shoes. If you have wide feet, go with your true size. If you have narrow feet, I would recommend a smaller size with the True Fit Guarantee, just in case they don't fit.

Super fast delivery
Shoes are a little stiff, need break in time. I normally wear 7.5-8 depends on the brand; I ordered 7.5 and they're about .5 inch loose. I don'the mind because once I start to bowl, I forget the loose shoes. Love my new shoes. Super fast delivery: ordered Tuesday mid afternoon; arrived Thursday early afyernoon even though the site stated 3-7 days.

I wanted something affordable and traditional. I have narrow feet and I find that I can tie them as tight as I need them to be. Any width can fit in these shoes. I got a 1/2 size smaller because they run large and they fit fine. Smooth slide. Only problem is they say rental on them.. No biggie.

Wish I Had Spent a Few Dollars More for a Nicer Pair
I bought these for myself while getting my husband a different pair for his birthday. I bought a stylish pair for him and got the cheap shoes for myself so we could go bowling maybe once a month. Little did I know that he'd get so hooked that he would start going bowling about 2-3 times a week. He's since upgraded his shoes and bought two bags and several bowling balls. Every time we go bowling I'm jealous of his shoes and wish I'd spent a little more on a pair that I liked. These shoes are ugly, stiff, and they sometimes rub my ankle a little. I'm seriously considering buying another pair even before these wear out. That's what I get for being so cheap. :(
By the way, if you're worried about these looking too much like the rental shoes at the bowling alley, you could always do like I did. I put silver nail polish over the circle in the back with my shoe size (who wants everyone to know your shoe size anyway, especially if you have big feet like me?). Then I took a sharpie and blackened in the word "Rental" so that you hardly notice it. I've never had anyone mistake my shoes for one of theirs.

Disappointed
These shoes are nice to look at. Unfortunately, they run large. I typically wear a 9.5 in women's. I ordered a 9 based on another site's reviews and they were still too big. I would reccomend at least 1 full size down from your true women's size. Also, one of my shoes was about a half inch bigger than the other. Not big on returning items, but i am sending these back and will try a different brand.

Good price but not comfy
The shoes run true to size - based on other reviews elsewhere I figured they'd run small, so ordering a 1/2 size bigger was a mistake (that's my problem, not the manufacturers, obviously). The price was decent for brand new bowling shoes, but I now regret not spending the extra to get a nice pair. These are stiff, hurt my ankles where they rub, needed two different kinds of inserts to even make them a possibility to wear (which pretty well negates any savings over having bought the "cheap" shoes), and actually have "rental" written on them - not even the rental shoes at the bowling facility we go to say that! I do definitely regret buying them and plan to upgrade once I've gotten my money's worth out of them.

Same size as the mens 10
I bought a size 10 in mens for my son and a size 10 in womens for my daughter. They came and were exactly the same size. Sent a picture to bowling.com and they said it was correct because the color on back of shoe was red for womens and black for mens. Still wanted to charge me to return and restock. Just went and bought another brand that we bought last year. Not worth the money to return.

my 13 yr old daughter is a kids size 5.5 what size would that be in ladies as the kids version of this doesn't go that large?

Answer:
Hello! The Women's 5.5 should be the correct size for your daughter. We do suggest looking at our True Fit option if you are unsure of sizing, as it will help cut your return costs in half, and the exchange is processed immediately.

Question:
if normally I wear 8 1/2 womenwhat bowling size will I need
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Unfortunately we do not have an exact size that we can confirm to go with. From some of our reviews a few people said it ran a little big but you may want to get the True Fit just to be safe which would help you switch sizes up or down in the same shoe until you get the size that fits.

Hello! We recommend ordering your normal shoe size, but true to size can vary depending on brand and the person. We offer the True Fit Guarantee which would cover your exchange expenses to get the next size up or down in case the first size did not work out for you.
