Great Beginner Ball!

I am a beginner bowler. My husband is teaching me to bowl and with this ball, and correct/accurate drilling, I have already seen my beginner average of about 30 jump up to about 65. I’m only about a month in and couldn’t be more happy with this ball and how it works for me!

Wow!!!

Let me start by saying that I was attracted to this ball because of the color. I ordered it on a Monday and guess what? It arrived the very next day!!!! OMG! I love the fact that I was given the option for pre drilling. Every single aspect of this order from finding a ball, getting pre-drilled, to suggesting a bag, to placing the order (with discount coupon), to receiving the next day was A+++. I would definitely recommend.

Pros:

Beautiful looking ball

Cons:

Even for a spare ball it has too much hook for me

Best Uses:

Spare ball or beginner ball

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Can be iffy for rev dominant two handers

I have this ball so I can use it as a spare ball. I bowl two-handed and I am rev dominant. I bought this ball so it would go straight. I struggle with flattening my hand to try and throw it straight so I'm still putting hook on the ball. Even with the ball drilled pin down, it still will hook when shooting at the ten pin. I bought a 4000 pad and polish to try and get it to go straight and will update my review after I apply those to it.

Question:

Do you drill differently for right and left handlers ?

10/11/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Yes, the drilling will be slightly different for a right and left handed bowler. The drilling defaults to right handed drilling if you select this so if you need left handed drilling you will need to mention that you need left handed drilling in the customer comments box on the final page of the checkout.

How do you know your weight

7/4/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

When selecting a bowling ball weight you would need to find out which weight is most comfortable for you. You may check your bowling center and see which weight feels the most comfortable. Do not worry as much with the finger hole but more with the feel of the weight and try to go with the heaviest weight you feel comfortable with.

The drilling that we offer is a basic conventional drilling and there is a size chart available if you click the "?" beside the drilling option. The span is the distance between the fingers and thumb hole and the hole size is the width of the finger hole.
