Motiv Raptor Reign

Motiv Raptor Reign The game has evolved, and so have the lanes. With more oil up front and heavier carrydown turning the fresh into chaos, only the best can keep up. Enter the Motiv Raptor Reign—a heavy-oil predator engineered for high-performance bowlers who demand traction, control, and relentless continuation. This solid reactive powerhouse grips the lane like talons and drives through the pins without letting go. At the center of the Raptor Reign is the Affliction V2, MOTIV’s most dominant symmetrical core to date. Its fast-spinning, low-RG design delivers fierce mid-lane read, while the .055 differential unleashes massive flare potential. Forget the old notion that only asymmetrical cores can conquer heavy oil—this core combines control, versatility, and downlane continuation to thrive in the most demanding conditions. Wrapped around the Affliction V2 is the Leverage MXV Solid reactive coverstock, built to excel in the modern oil environment. Strong enough to plow through the heaviest volumes, yet versatile enough to create motion when lanes get tight, this coverstock maintains power all the way through the deck. Unlike previous Leverage formulations designed to smooth out motion, the MXV pushes through carrydown with aggressive traction and unstoppable drive. When the lanes break down and others struggle to find reaction, the Raptor Reign takes control. Designed for the changing competitive landscape, it offers the blend of strength, predictability, and continuation needed to stay ahead of the transition. Don’t adjust to the chaos—impose your game with the Raptor Reign.

This Raptor has claws and TEETH

The new Raptor Reign is by far the strongest of the Raptors we have released yet. The new cover formula has created a similar strength in oil to the previous Raptors as well as the Subzero Forge, but with providing more overall shape downlane. This allows it to separate itself from the Subzero Forge and not overlap too much as it is more responsive, while also not stepping on the toes of the Jackal line as it provides similar strength but with more overall continuity through the pin deck. I decided to drill this one pin down to accentuate that shape even more and I am very impressed with the shape as pin down symmetric balls tend to become too clean, but this one is so strong front to back, it just gave me a shape unlike anything else in my arsenal! Fantastic addition to the MOTIV line and Raptor Family! - Anthony Evans, MOTIV Bowling Staff Member

Super Fuzzy

Holy fuzzy out of the box. Motiv has found a way to create tons of traction without completely sacrificing all of the continuation down lane. I am super exited to have a big symmetrical piece back in the bag. I am able to throw this a lot more than the onyx which I attest to the core being a sym vs assym. I really look forward to the season with this ball. Eric George Motiv Staff
