Track Criterion

The Track Criterion is a game-changing addition to Track’s line of performance bowling balls. Known for pushing boundaries, Track delivers once again with the Criterion, a ball designed for bowlers who demand versatility, power, and consistency on the lanes. Building on the legacy of revolutionary core designs seen in the Paradox, Paragon, and Archetype, the Criterion introduces the all-new Criterion M.D. core—optimized to tackle oily lane conditions while maintaining energy for a strong finish on the backend. The Criterion features the most advanced QR and HK22 coverstock ever seen on a Track bowling ball. Engineered with cutting-edge nano micellular phase separation technology, the HK22 cover enhances color, clarity, and overall performance, offering exceptional traction without sacrificing backend power. Paired with Durability Optimization Technology (DOT), the Criterion is built for long-lasting performance, significantly reducing the risk of cracking. Incorporating DynamiCore outer core technology, this ball delivers unmatched durability and less compression upon impact, resulting in amplified hitting power, superior pin carry, and a unique sound that sets it apart from the competition. Trust the Track Criterion to elevate your game with precision, power, and durability—it's the right choice for bowlers looking to conquer any condition.

Track Criterion

I have only used the Track Criterion on our House pattern so far, but I can see this will be in my tournament bag for sure. It is a heavy rolling ball that stays strong down lane. Compared to my Hammer Pure Envy, it is about 3-4 boards with my feet stronger. It has the new QR-12 cover with HK22 & cohesion additives. Then they put a large multi-density core inside. This is a big engine ball. I really like what I've seen so far.

amazing release

this ball is great as it's got a bigger core but doesn't give up, it continues even on something a little dryer

Question:

Would the track criterion hook more than the pure envy

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Criterion will have just a slightly stronger coverstock with the solid reactive coverstock reading a little earlier than the hybrid cover on the Pure Envy but the Pure Envy weight block is slightly stronger so the over hook potentials will be too close to say for sure. Both are higher performance options for heavier oil so they will both have a very high hook potential.
