What's the difference in using a 500 or 1000 or 2000 on your ball

Question:
To get more hold(cut down the hook on back end) what grit pad would best suit my Quantum Bias?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The lower the grit that you use the earlier the ball will be able to grip on the lane and it will make the ball have a smoother hook with more arc. If you go to a higher grit pad like a 4000 grit then the ball will go longer on the lanes and have more of an angular backend hook. The White Quantum Bias came out of the box with a 1000 grit finish which is pretty dull. If you want this to read earlier then you could go to a 500 grit but if you wanted more length you could go up to something like a 4000 grit pad or you could try to add polish.
