Slick heel. Allows for a smoother slide, rather than planting your foot.
Trimming the heel to fit is tough, use a Dremel to smooth sides.

Slick Sole. Great for sliding.
Seems like all bowling shoes dont slide like they used to. My 3G heel didnt allow me to slide. Instead, I was planting my foot. This puts a lot of stress on the hip and quad muscle, causing soreness. This heel, coupled witha slicker sole will fix that.
