At its core is the proven Iron Fist V2 asymmetric core, generating plenty of track flare and traction to create a strong, consistent motion through the middle of the lane. Wrapped in a responsive pearl coverstock, the Spartan Pearl easily clears the front part of the lane, stores energy, and unleashes a sharp, continuous backend move that creates exceptional pin carry.
Compared to previous Ebonite pearl asymmetrics, the Spartan Pearl offers a noticeably quicker response to friction, making it easier to create angle and open up the lane when conditions call for it. DON’T SLEEP ON THIS BALL….THIS BALL IS SPECIAL!!!
I did not have an opportunity to throw the Ebonite Spartan. Not because I couldn’t get it, but because it just didn’t fit into my arsenal at the time…..or so I thought! The Ebonite Spartan Pearl is definitely the sleeper ball of 2026! The Ebonite Spartan Pearl takes the Spartan core and upgrades the cover to provide a sharper, more angular ball shape. The asymmetric Iron Fist V2 Core is now merged with the new HK-22 C2 Optimize Pearl coverstock, providing a very strong and continuous mid-lane ball motion, with a sharper more deliberate shape down lane. I drilled the Spartan Pearl at 40x4 3/4x75. This unique layout is designed for heavier volumes of oil, to be used during transitioning on the lanes. This is the ball I would go to after using a strong solid like the Hammer Spawn or the Spartan Solid. I adjusted the cover on the Spartan Pearl and removed the shine off to have the ball read earlier in the mid-lanes. The Spartan Solid is a benchmark ball for heavy oil conditions, but the Spartan Pearl stores more energy through the front and saves it for an angular move on the backend.
