Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl
Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl
When you need effortless length and a backend that bites hard, the Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl brings the heat. Built to pair seamlessly with the Zero Mercy Solid, this ball keeps the same powerhouse Super Offset core at its center—delivering the signature Hammer motion you can trust, but with added sharpness and speed downlane.
Its polished HK22C² Pearl coverstock clears the fronts with ease, then flips aggressively when it finds friction, creating a fast, defined move that drives through the pins with authority. The result is a clean, angular reaction that thrives when the lanes start to break down.
Dressed in bold, unmistakably Hammer colors, the Zero Mercy Pearl makes a statement every time it hits the lane—clean, confident, and completely unforgiving.

Zero Mercy on the Pins!
This ball is a great strong middle of the bag piece. It allows you to stay in your zone longer before having to jump inside. Its creates a great back end angle but can still handle some oil thanks to the HK22C2 Give the video a look and check it out!

The Zero Mercy Pearl Redefines Backends!
Adding to the greatness of the Hammer line, Hammer introduces the new Zero Mercy Pearl. Like the Zero Mercy Solid, the Zero Mercy Pearl, Hammer took the original 3-D Offset core and reengineered the design to create the all-new Super Offset core and paired with a cleaner, faster-reacting version of the all-new HK22C² coverstock, creating a sharper change of direction and a dynamic ball continuation through the pins. My Zero Mercy is drilled 55x4.5x35, which allows the ball to go longer and create more angularity off the spot. The pearl coverstock helps the ball get down the lane, but this ball is just really angular and will come back, trust me! The Zero Mercy Pearl is EVERYTHING the HYPE was all about and is a great addition to have with the Zero Mercy Solid!

Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl
Here is my take on the Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl. This is Hammer's new "1-2 punch" in aggressive asymmetric core bowling balls. The Zero Mercy Pearl features new Super Offset asymmetric core (2.52 RG/.053 diff for 15#) wrapped by a silver/black/orange HK-22 C2 Pearl cover. Box surface is Factory Compound over 1500 Siaair. I drilled the Zero Mercy Pearl with the layout, 40 x 4 x 25. I threw the Zero Mercy Pearl at box surface and tried it on fresh and leftover THS. Both of the Zero Mercy bowling balls have already found a place in the arsenal. As would be expected, the Zero Mercy Pearl is definitely cleaner and shows a quicker response than the Zero Mercy Solid. The Zero Mercy Solid is just a monster ball that hooks on the heaviest soup out there...even more than the Hammer Maximum Effect. What I found very interesting about the Zero Mercy Pearl is that it did NOT jump off of the spot. It's definitely quicker than the Zero Mercy Solid, but not as quick I might have otherwise expected. The Zero Mercy Pearl shows more length but still a pretty smooth, rounded shape at the back part of the lane. Thus, that tells me that the Zero Mercy Solid will be perfect for high volume fresh patterns and the Zero Mercy Pearl will be fantastic on medium to higher volume fresh patterns. Alternatively, the Pearl might be a nice "go to" piece when the Solid is too slow. I'll be looking forward to seeing how this plays out when I begin returning to tournaments next month. I've liked what I've seen with both and I'll be drilling a second of each of these in the not too distant future. The Zero Mercy Pearl is readily available. See your local pro shop for more information.

Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl
The Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl has been in play for me the past few weeks and my league averages have gone up rapidly since its arrival. This is my favorite pearl asymmetric since the first Effect came out several years ago. Super clean through the mids, and as most HK22 balls do, it responds strong to friction. It is not a left turn kind of string but more rounded and controllable. It stays strong through the pins. I have shot more 9 pin spares than 10 pin spares while using this piece. I know it has been great on THS and can't wait to see it shine when patterns start to transition. If you don't have one, you should.

Hammer Zero Mecry Pearl
The Hammer Zero Mercy Pearl is a great compliment to the Zero Mercy Solid. He has the same rolly midlane ball motion, with more angularity on the backend. This ball is very good on house shot conditions and medium to longer sport shots. Being a Pearl, the Zero Mercy pearl has great length but with a very HEAVY roll on the backend. It carries very well by keeping the pins low. These 2 Zero Mercy balls from Hammer are a great 1 -2 punch for a variety of lane conditions.

Zero Mercy Pearl
The Zero Mercy Pearl is the perfect 1-2 punch to the Zero Mercy Solid. Very similar in strength however the Pearl has a very controllable angular motion down lane. You won't see this ball roll out, it just keeps coming.

Hits hard!
This is a must!! Aggressive and really packs a punch! It's not the prettiest ball going down the lane, but it sure looks amazing when it blasts through the pins. Don't wait...buy now!

Zero Mercy Pearl
I drilled this ball with a 40 x 5 x 60, pin down layout. First thought was that this ball is very angular. It is very clean through the fronts, makes a sharp turn at the end of the pattern and continues left off the deck. This is a great ball for someone who likes the motion of a strong asym pearl. I think this ball would be a great first ball out of the bag, a great ball for tournaments, a perfect step down from the Zero Mercy Solid and be very beneficial to lower rev players!

Question:
How would this compare to the Attention Star?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball is going to have several similarities to the Attention Star. Both are high performance balls with a pearl coverstock and strong backend hook. Both are designed to work well in medium oil but the weight block on the Zero Mercy Pearl is slightly stronger so you may see a little stronger reaction on the lanes with this.
