Hammer created the Raw series of bowling balls to enhance an experienced bowler's arsenal and to offer beginners a performance option for their first bowling ball. The Hammer Raw Solid Black features the Raw Hammer core which is covered with the Juiced Solid coverstock then finished with a 500 then 1500 then 3000 grit Siaair sanding pad. This combination of core, cover, and finish produces a strong arc reaction and is ideal for medium oil.

With Hammer you can compare the balls using their FCC rating to compare the strength of the Finish, Core, and Cover. The Raw Solid is Finish-8.5, Core-5.25, Cover-9 and the Raw Hybrid is Finish-7.5, Core-5.25, Cover-8.75. So the Solid will have a stronger finish and cover to give it more hook potential. The Solid also reads earlier on the lane while the Hybrid reacts later on the lanes. This also causes the Solid to work more for medium oil while the Hybrid works more in medium to lighter oil.
Due to the time it takes to produce the Hammer Raw Solid Black ball it will ship in immediately. We cannot ship this ball outside the United States.
