Outsmart the competition with the Brunswick Mastermind Einstein. This high performance bowling ball offers easy length with mid lane traction and outstanding movement on the backend when used on medium to oily lanes. This reaction is achieved by combining Modified Mastermind Low RG core with the aggressive Relativity hybrid coverstock and finishing it with a 4000 grit Siaair Micro Pad.
I drilled this ball 60x5x70 which is a one of my favorite layouts. This ball was quite the surprise when it hit the lanes. Those of you who love that Mastermind signature reaction will love how this ball seems to be a great combo of all of them rolled into one. I was able to play multiple angles without losing carry or having it read to early. This ball was clean thru the front and read well down lane with endless recovery. If you loved the back end movement of the Scholar you'll love the Einstein and it's ability to provide similar angle without being as sensitive to oil.
I drilled my Einstein 70/5/35 this ball wants to go as soon as it hits the lane. The ball was strong in the mid lane and was very aggressive on the backend. I got this just prior to taking my son to junior gold so i only got a chance to use it on a house shot. I went 219, 247, 269 for a 735. Not bad for the first three games. The ball was as advertised.
Good Luck and keep hitting them hard.
when I throw this ball for the first time I was wondering if it was going to be the typical strong ball motion were if it catches to much dry it rolls out or if you swing it. it seems to use up its energy before it gets back. to my surprise this ball is a beast it clears the heads with ease it don't mind covering a lot of boards and it goes threw the pins like a truck. and on a long heavy patter the ball haves enough teeth that it cuts the pattern and still goes threw the pins with tons of energy. this ball is a must
Dual Angle Drilling: 60 x 5 1/2" x 40 with no hole and box surface of 4000
The Mastermind Einstein has a modified lower RG core compared to the other Mastermind series balls. It also has a new composite coverstock additive that will create more continuation through the pins. The Mastermind Einstein will start up a little sooner compared to the Mastermind Intellect but will have a stronger continuous downlane motion. I have used this ball on longer oil patterns, and it gave me more overall hook compared to the Mastermind Intellect. I have also used this ball on a THS, and it gives me a stronger, controllable motion compared to the Mastermind Intellect. I haven't had this ball overreact to friction and is one of my benchmark balls. Also, I can keep moving left to open up my angles and find more oil, and it still has enough energy to make it back to the pocket and carry. This is my favorite ball in the Mastermind line and will perform on many different oil conditions. I would recommend this ball for a THS and medium to heavier oil conditions. It takes well to surface changes, and I keep mine at 4000 to help control the overall motion with my higher rev rate.
I would give it a much higher rating if it didn't make my truck, house, trunk or any place I put it. I'm letting it sit outside hoping the smell will go away. If I ever buy another ball and it smells like this I'm sending it back.
Rev Rate: 400-450rpm
Axis Rotation: Medium
Axis Tilt: Low
Ball Layout: 45 by 5.25" by 45 with P3 hole
The Einstein is the bigger, better brother to the Mastermind Intellect. The Einstein will produce similar overall hook compared to the Intellect with the difference coming all in the backend. My Einstein still gives me more than enough midlane reaction but I'm very pleased with the extra backend strength. This allows me to open up my angles and not be so worried about leaving corner pins as I continue moving inside. I thought the Scholar was my favorite ball in the Mastermind line, but the Einstein is quickly catching up. It's just a good, wholesome, versatile, big-boy asymmetric. Nothing terribly fancy but just gets the job done. I tend to pull this out of my bag first when I know I'll be dealing with heavier volume and/or longer patterns. Whether you plan on facing heavier/longer house shots or sport patterns, the Einstein would be a great choice for a strong yet versatile asymmetric.
This ball is awesome..I drilled mine with the pin above bridge and this ball just gets great length and a ton of back end. I like the Intellect when it came up but I wanted something with a little more pop and when they brought this out it changes the ball game. If your looking for a great ball that gets length with a lot of back end this is the ball to go get.
this ball will be used in at least 3 leagues this year
Always get correct specs when ordering - Great rolling ball
The Mastermind Einstein is the newest release in the Hook line of bowling balls for Brunswick. For me, this ball has the roll characteristics of the original Mastermind, but it's a lot cleaner through the front and middle parts of the lane. The Einstein will get to the spot and be a lot more responsive where you would see the OG Mastermind wiggle a bit when the lanes started breaking down. I have mine drilled to give me a little extra length and a more snap motion on the backend. I plan on using this during the end of the 1st game through the 2nd game of league bowling. It can easily be the starting ball for me as well if I lay it out with the pin closer to my PAP.

Great ball, excellent back end.
The Mastermind's have been my favorite line from Brunswick, but the Einstein is something different. The Einstein is much stronger in the midlane and has a great backend and finish through the pins. Great for medium to heavier oil lane conditions. I actually polished mine up to get a little more length and saw an increase in backend. With their new coverstock technology the balls has lasted longer and performed better than the completion!
The new Modified Mastermind Low RG core features a single density squared-off elliptical inner core. The core is dynamically designed to extend the rotational energy, boosting angular velocity to transfer energy to the pins for increased pin action and higher scores.
The new Mastermind Einstein with its 4000 grit Siaair Micro Pad finish, provides easy length through heads, mid lane traction with an exceptional move on the backend on medium to oily lane conditions.
This ball is a keeper!!! Get one today!!
Layout: controllable, nothing fancy
Bowler bio: higher rev, 16.-17.0 mph
This bowl has quickly become one of the first out of the bag. Through the heads, it is cleaner than most of the other "topshelf" balls I have thrown, and doesn't overreact on the backend. Thus far this ball has been predictable and versatile. I have about 25 games on mine so far and have seen minimal if any degradation to the performance...having stayed with the out of the box coverstock as I didn't need to tune it. A great piece to have in the arsenal that will fit right in the middle of the bag so that balling up or down due to the conditions is easy.
