Pros:

Lightweight, excellent fit and feel

Best Uses:

Drumming so far

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Lightweight and Slick Looking

I bought these shoes more for when I'm playing my drum kit than for bowling, but I have to say, they are great shoes that not only grip the bass drum and hi-hat pedals well, they also allow me to slide my feet easily on the pedals in order to play certain patterns. These shoes are at least 1/5th the weight of another pair of shoes that were recommended as good for drumming, and those recommended were skateboarding shoes.

I do bowl, at a bit more than a beginner level, but not very often so any real experience at an alley with these actual bowling shoes will be forthcoming but for now, I think they're great great shoes to wear when playing a drum set.
