Radical Outer Limits Black Hole
Radical Outer Limits Black Hole
Radical expands the proven Outer Limits line with the bold new Outer Limits Black Hole. Built around the same dynamic Outer Limits core, this release adds a powerful upgrade with the HK22 coverstock enhanced by the Cohesion additive package.
With an RG of 2.499, total differential of 0.051, and intermediate differential of 0.014, the Outer Limits Black Hole delivers the strong down-lane motion and continuation that made the Outer Limits line a standout since its debut in early 2023. That signature motion remains, but now with even more punch.
The high-performance HK22C coverstock provides added length through the front part of the lane and a sharper, more defined move off the breakpoint. Testers consistently noted impressive skid, a quick response to friction, and a strong, continuous finish—proof that this shiny black ball is anything but subtle.
Combining eye-catching looks with proven performance, the Outer Limits Black Hole offers plenty of hook, explosive backend motion, and the kind of finish bowlers trust when it’s time to open up the lane.

Radical Outer Limits Black Hole
I did have a chance to drill a Radical Outer Limits Black Hole. The Outer Limits Black Hole features the Outer Limits asymmetric core wrapped by a black HK-22C solid cover. Box finish is 1500 Siaair under Factory Compound. I decided to do something a little different in going with a weaker layout (55 x 5 3/4 x 20). I went over the ball with a 4000 Siaair pad. I've thrown the ball on both fresh and leftover THS. The manufacturer's intent was to create a little quicker response, continuous asymmetric core ball. From what I have seen thus far, Radical absolutely nailed their intended target. From what I am seeing, shows the ball reacting quickly to the down lane friction and continuing through the pins. Is it the quickest response ball I've ever thrown? No but in the range of asymmetric core pieces, this ball is definitely on the quicker side in terms of response. This ball has already successfully made several PBA telecasts. I could see this ball in play, depending on surface preparation, on medium to higher volumes of oil. Additionally, given what I've seen this ball will likely excel on medium to longer distance patterns or where steeper launch angles are desired. Lastly, notwithstanding all of the multi colored swirled balls going down the lanes nowadays, I think there is great shelf appeal to a shiny solid black colored bowling ball. The Radical Outer Limits Black Hole is readily available. Please see your local pro shop for more information.

Outer Limits Limits Black Hole
This is one of my favorite lines from Radical. The Outer Limits Black Hole gives you length through the front part of the lane with sharp motion of the spot.

Question:
What if any difference between this one & the evil eye
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Outer Limits Black Hole has a true Asymmetric core, is finished with Factory Compound, which adds extra length through the front part of the lane before making its sharp move, and makes it ideal for finding length when the front oil starts to vanish. The Evil Eye has a Symmetric core, comes with a matte 500/1500 Siaair finish, which makes it much more aggressive early on the lane, and reads the midlane much earlier and provides a smoother, highly controllable arc through heavy oil.
