Storm Rocket A.I.
Storm Rocket A.I.
The Storm Rocket A.I. brings back a name bowlers have trusted for years, now reengineered to match the demands of modern lane conditions. Designed for medium to dry oil patterns, this updated version delivers easy length through the front of the lane with a crisp, defined move off the breakpoint. It’s the ideal choice when you need added control up front without sacrificing backend pop.
At the heart of the Rocket A.I. is the proven Booster Core, now upgraded with A.I. Technology. This enhancement fine-tunes the core dynamics by lowering the RG and increasing differential, creating a more dynamic shape downlane while maintaining the smooth, readable motion that made the original Rocket so dependable. The result is improved continuation and better carry, even on less-than-perfect hits.
Wrapped around the core is the A1S Pearl Reactive coverstock, featuring Storm’s Adhesion System technology. Combined with Power Edge Polish, this cover clears the fronts with ease while still providing the traction needed to respond quickly to friction. The motion is clean, controlled, and angular—giving bowlers the confidence to open the lane when conditions start to break down.
The Rocket A.I. is built for those moments when the lanes begin to transition, and you need a ball that gets down the lane effortlessly and finishes strong—helping you stay ahead of the transition and keep the strikes coming.

Controllable Angles
Roket AI A1S Pearl Reactive, Booster A.I. Core, Power Edge, 15 lbs - RG 2.53, Diff .048 Right Hand - 15.5 mph down lane, 335 +/-, PAP 4.75, 1/2 up, Layout 4x4.5x1.75 I was not familiar with the 2015 Rocket so this was a new ball to me. The first time I rolled this ball was on a typical house shot with 3 other bowlers on pair. On the fresh it was clean through the fronts but there was not enough on the backend to make the turn. Where the Rocket AI began to shine was during the transition and when the lanes started to get crispy. The ball was clean through the fronts and the motion down lane became angular but controllable with the A1S Pearl Coverstock backed with Power Edge polish. Where the stronger balls over hooked or rolled out, the Rocket AI’s readable motion created more confidence for me to move right and to continue to make that move. I feel the Rocket AI is a piece that can keep you ahead of the transition and it will continue to be the ball to get you down the lane an create that desired angular motion when it becomes toasty. Customer Questions & Answers | Reviews
Question:
is this a bal that is close to the equinox
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Equinox is a great "Game 1" ball. It handles fresh oil patterns, while still giving you that backend "pop." When the lanes start to dry out and you need a "transition" ball, the Rocket A.I. provides the length and sharp backend angle needed to keep carry high.
Question:
How would ya compare the cores in the rocket and the ones in the hustles
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Comparing the RG values (15lbs), The Rocket A.I. has RG 2.53 and RG Diff 0.048 and the Hustle RG is 2.53 and RG Diff 0.030. This would mean that the weight blocks have similar length (RG) but the Rocket A.I. has a higher flare potential (RG Diff).
Question:
How would this compare to a Burner Pearl?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
There are some similarities with both bowling balls designed to react later with a sharper backend hook. However, the Rocket A.I. has a stronger overall hook potential which make it better suited for medium oil conditions while the Burner Pearl was designed for lighter oil conditions primarily.
Question:
Is this good bowling ball?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Hi Matt! Yes, this is a great choice for a mid performance ball.
