This ball is designed to have a good amount of hook potential. It is an upper mid performance ball that can handle medium to heavy oil conditions and the solid coverstock with duller finish out of the box helps this read earlier on the lanes for a smooth arcing hook.

These bowling balls are going to be very comparable. Both are upper mid performance balls with solid reactive coverstock finished at 2000 grit. Both work well in medium to heavy oil and both have similar symmetric weight blocks but the Sublime Focus weight block may have a slightly higher hook potential.
