The Brunswick Twist is a great option for someone looking to take a step up from a plastic/spare ball. This ball combines the proven R-16 Pearl Reactive coverstock with the Twist Low Diff core. This combination allows for easy length while maintaining a strong and controllable backend reaction when up against drier lane conditions. The Twist line of bowling balls is great for any age or skill level.

I just started bowling about a year ago and I got this bowling ball. At first, it was great for me. It is a ball for a more beginner based group. I am still new to bowling but this is what I have noticed. I had no problems until it cracked on the lane. I had gotten it fixed but it was never the same. I think the weight of the ball was messed up or something, I don't know. I recently started to try to get it to hook but it doesn't hook a lot. The only way that I personally could get it to hook was when I started bowling two-handed. I would definitely recommend this ball to a newer bowler. I still use this ball to this day.

I joined a bowling league and needed a ball which would work without killing my 70 yo arm. This ball is great - 12 lbs and easy to use.
is this ball good for aperson who throw straight ball
Is this ball pre drilled
Can you get this ball for a left-handed bowl or does it not matter?
How are measurements taken in order to have a ball pre-drilled
Can I put a name on it
Do you have 10 lb. Ball
We currently have this bowling ball in 10 lbs. You may see the available weights by clicking the weight selection box at the top of the bowling ball page.
Should a two handed bowler get this ball
A two handed bowler can use this ball. For an average bowler with an average speed and rev rate this ball is designed to work in lighter oil conditions. If you have a higher rev rate then you could use this into some medium oil conditions.
Is there a difference in hook potential between the heavier balls with asymmetrical cores and a 10 lb version of this same ball that doesn't appear to have that same core design.
The 16 - 12lbs weights will have the symmetric performance weight block on this ball. 11- 8lbs will not have a performance weight block so you are relying mostly on the coverstock and finish for the hook potential.
I am new to bowling will this be good for me
