which color of the stripa have the slowest release, ie more grip

Answer:

All colors of the Grip Strips will have the same release. There are some tapes that have different releases based on the color but all of these Grip Strips are the same. Make sure you do not get the very similar looking Slick Strips because those have a faster release than the Grip Strips.
