The Hammer Web Pearl bowling ball takes the Aggression Pearl coverstock and pairs it with the ever popular Spheroid core. This combination allows the ball to easily get through the front part of the lane and then break to the pocket at the backend when the lanes have a medium amount of oil.This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

Answer:
The Web Pearl has a FCC rating of Total-24.75, Finish-7.25, Core-8, Cover-9.5 . The Web Tour has a FCC rating of Total-25.5, Finish-9.5, Core-6.5, Cover-9.5. So the Web Tour is a little stronger overall but the Web Pearl goes longer to give you a sharper backend hook.

The Web Pearl works in medium oil with good length for a decent backend hook. The Tenacity was more for heavier oil and reacted a little more in the midlane. I am not sure which Hammer Red ball you had so I am not sure if that ball was already suited for medium oil like this Web Pearl but just using the Tenacity for your heavier oil ball and then using the Web Pearl later in the night when the lanes are breaking down to medium oil would be a good combo.

Yes, this could pair with the balls you have and it could work as your medium oil ball for when the lanes are not as oily. Your Web and Rip'd Pearl work well in medium and heavier oil and give you some different looks for that but the Web Pearl is going to go longer than the others and works better in medium oil or lighter oil than the others.

With you ball speed the Web Pearl would be a better option on medium to lighter oil. It may be a little strong on lighter oil for you but it will work better than the Web Tour.

This has a generic core in the 13lb weight. As the over all weight goes does you have to find ways to adjust the weight of the ball. Most of the time you have to go down to a weight block that is not as heavy to help get the over all weight down in the ball. But also you have to make sure the ball RG and RG Differential does not get outside of the approved range and to keep a similar reaction you have to adjust the weight block at a certain point to keep the numbers somewhat the same or keep it from getting outside the approved range.

The Web Pearl is rated for medium oil and the pearl cover with a polished finish will give you good length with a sharp backend hook. If your ball speed gets down closer to 13 mph then you want to make sure you get a ball with good length like the Web Pearl so the ball does not hook too strong too early on the lane.

I currently rolling a 15lb Hammer Rebel at 17.8 to 18.5 mph. Have a 184 average and looking to take it up a notch. Would this be a ball for me or should I go to the Black 2.0 Web?

If you were wanting to replace the Rebel then the Web Pearl would be a good option because it will be very close in comparison to the Rebel. The Web Pearl is just slightly stronger but not a huge difference. If you wanted to get a more noticeable difference you could go to the Black Widow 2.0 and it would cover more heavy oil conditions if you needed something for that.
