Roto Grip Hustle X-Ray

In sports we are always told to hustle well Roto Grip has a ball line that will do just that on the lanes. The Roto Grip Hustle X-Ray was designed to add variety to the Hustle line of bowling balls. This ball takes a medium RG core and medium differential to create a ball that will offer good mid-lane motion and continuation. The VTC Solid Reactive Coverstock was created to offer a slightly different reaction. With the Versatile Traction Control coverstock finished with 4000-grit Abralon this ball offers the right amount of power and control!

Stronger Hustle

I have the Hustle USA, which I still use a lot. I know all the Hustle numbers are the same, but this solid X-ray seems to have a little more traction and pop down lane to me. Very smooth motion, predictable, and forgiving. Definitely a step up from other low end balls. It’s pretty close to my Teal Rhino Pro. This is even enough ball to make work on a fresh pattern if need be. I Only have a few games on it, but so far I’m liking it a lot. I left it box surface, and it seems to be holding it well and rolling consistently. Great ball for the money. I’m a stroker player around 2nd or 3rd arrow, and this X-ray seems to match well to the straighter angles. If I’m struggling to find a good shot with other balls, or need to keep it simple, a Hustle will save the day most of the time for me.

Question:

how would this hustle x-ray compare with the Hammer Arctic Vibe? I am a low rev and low speed (13 mph) rec bowler. Love bowling.com and the great prices and pro drilling option

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

These two options are very comparable but the X-Ray will read slightly earlier giving it a slightly smoother hook reaction on medium to lighter oil conditions. The X-Ray has a solid coverstock and is finished at 4000 grit finish with no compound or polish so that is what helps it react a little earlier than the Hybrid cover Arctic Vibe with a compound finish.
