Take a ride into the danger zone with the Ebonite Maverick bowling ball. This high performance bowling ball features the Maverick core which was based on the successful Warrior core. This core was designed to produce an increased revving action in order to produce a sharp hooking motion. This core has an increased volume of mass at the opposite end from the pin enabling the ball to maintain more energy for the backend. This ball uses Ebonite's GB 14.0 solid coverstock which provides great mid lane traction, continuation, and pin carry.
strong ball for oil. Clears the front half the lane easier than the warrior surpreme and makes a sharper turn in the backend.

I'm American in Korea who loves Ebonite products the Angular collection works very well for me. The Maverick does move very well for me. The ball was drill to roll up early on the lane, even after using 500 grid Avalon pad it still slid past it break point. This was a disappointing expensive ball.
The Ebonite Maverick is one of the most strongest balls that I have owned. Not only does it read through the midlane oil, it hits well through the pins. Any time that I am bowling on any sort of higher volume, this is the first ball out of my bag!
Excellent bowling. Being an upgrade of the Warrior line, can't wait to start rolling.
If you are looking for a controllable ball with strong, continuos motion through the pins on the fresh, than look no further than the Maverick. Whether you drill it up pin down or pin up, the ball just reads the mids so well. I'm a left handed tweener with about a 300+ rev rate. This is my go to ball. If I need aggressive, I go to the pin down layout. Need a little more length than I go to a pin up layout. I was amazed by how strong and even this ball is. It doesn't hook at your feet nor will it go 55 feet before turning the corner. If you are a lower rev rate player, the Maverick would be an ideal ball to help you carry the 7 or 10 pin. I bowl in a lot of tournaments and this ball never stays home. Once the ball gets a little lane shine, I lightly sand mine with a 1500 abralon pad to give the ball a some "teeth". As an Ebonite Amateur staff player, I was very excited to see this ball come out. I liked the Warrior Supreme but it went a little long for me at times, where the Maverick is much more predictable and stronger in the fronts. Order one, you won't be disappointed.
This ball is the first ball out of my bag. My benchmark ball when trying to read the lanes. I would be able to play straight then would have enough when I move left and play in.
By producing a modified version of the warrior core the Maverick will provide additional motion in the mid part of the lane and more continuation through the pin deck.
I had been missing a ball that allowed me to control the back ends on fresh, high volume patterns and the Maverick fills that hole perfectly. The pin down layout I chose gets this ball started early enough to handle plenty of volume, but it still provides enough motion down lane to get me through the first few games of a tournament on a sport compliant condition.
For the house pattern, this ball is a winner. House shots are often "over-walled" and the Maverick helps blend that reaction out perfectly to produce a consistent ball motion through the pocket. Predictability and continuation are the main properties for the Maverick, a ball motion that all bowlers need.
