Storm is taking the success of the original Crux and putting it into the Crux Pearl. The asymmetrical Catalyst core is paired with the highly technical ERG pearl reactive coverstock to create a ball with an awesome backend motion with prime entry angle. This ball offers a skid/flip reaction on heavy oil conditions while clearing the midlane and producing a powerful backend reaction.
Hooks consistently--super backend pin action--keep it in the oil.
Most hook across the whole line of storm.. It hooks. I am a cranker, around 500 rpm, yet my ball speed is around 16 mph.. I am forced to throw over the gutter. Yeah.. It hooks all the way back.. She is a beauty.. And it smells like root beer! At league people say, hey.. Is that the new crux?? That is a lot of ball.... They are right..thanks storm.. # 2hands
just bought this ball and used it at league for the first time without practicing with it and shot a 607! my average right now is 175. looks like it'll be going up soon, love this ball.
Outstanding bowling ball
I am a fairly consistent bowler. I've averaged between 190-210 for the last 20 years. A year and a half ago I decided to buy a new ball. I went with the Crux Pearl. I finished the 2014-2015 season with a 222 average and the 2015-2016 season with a 223 average. My highest average ever. Also on March 5, I had the best night of my life. 1st game-256 2nd game-300 (1st of my life) and 3rd game-279 for an 835 series. Between the end of the 1st game until the 8th frame of the 3rd game I ran 23 strikes in a row.
Bought this ball today on its release date and it's everything and more that I imagined. I'm a league bowler 195 average and this ball is a must have in your arsenal of strike balls. Best polish cover stock ball to date. Hits the pocket hard and gives you lots of action and great mix when you miss your mark. Colors are very sharp as well.
on fresh oil this ball is a beast, the turn on the back end is remarkable. I bowled league on a 42ft pattern and played 18 at arrows to 8 at the break point and shoot 258, 258, 257. I am a 215 avg bowler.
The ball is aggressive and a challenge but, worth the effort!
SMOOTH DELIVERY AND CLEARS PINS OF THE DECK
If you are looking for a very reactive ball this one is GREAT!!
Great New product. Friend bowler 800 series first week
Great product. No scratches, came as it was presented.
I'm a roller that doesn't have a lot of rpm or speed, this ball hits nice and carries.
I had to move my spot throwing the ball standing wide left to hit first arrow on right to hit the right pocket strike zone. If not I was hitting Brooklyn side constantly. Excellent ball once you get use to it. Also my first
time using a figure tipped ball instead of convential style
