If you have an affinity for making strikes then check out the Ebonite Affinity bowling ball. This ball features the Affinity core which uses a higher RG to offer effortless length through the front part of the lane and then a strong downlane motion when up against medium oil conditions. This ball is covered with Ebonite's successful GB 11.2 Pearl coverstock making it ideal for broken down patterns.

I would say this is by far, the cleanest ball of all 4 Ebonite International brands. I tested mine on a standard house condition and I could see right away, how shape the breakpoint was. The ball had no problem getting to, and coming off the friction down lane. I also tested it on my 41' League condition I designed for my scratch league. The pattern has a 4.04:1 ratio with 27.56 ml of oil. I was able to play much straighter but still see that crazy angular ball motion down lane. The crisp clean backends of the pattern really showed how clean and angular this Affinity really is. If you're in need of a ball with a really clean, angular motion.. please look no further than the Ebonite Affinity!
I love how this ball gets down the lane and then gives me a strong reaction. This ball works great for me when a shot has broke down and the backends are a little tighter from carry down. It still gives me plenty of finish with great carry.
Creates a different shape for medium/dry lanes. Easier down lane and more change in direction than than phenom pearl.Ebonite staff playerUSBC Silver coachJay Stephenson
I got this ball in a 14 pound weight after recovering from right shoulder surgery. Bowling in a light to medium oil pattern I had enough control to improve my pre-surgery average. The affinity is also my go to choice in my left handed league when the lanes get too dry.
The Affinity is simply a good ball. It's very clean through the front and backends nicely but is very controllable at the same time. Doesn't flare a ton and is a good ball to go to when the lane is breaking down or you're bowling on lighter and flatter patterns.
This ball provides a fair amount of length with a pretty sharp shape. It is a great compliment to the GB2 Phenom Pearl. I've found this ball to like more volume than the Phenom Pearl, but it has carried well from multiple angles!
