I have had SST4 s for over 20 years....someone gave me a pair of SST6...can someone tell me which heel is comparable to the rubber heel on the SST4

It can be hard to see exactly which heel was on that shoe because there were so many different SST 4 models. I have looked over them and almost every SST 4 shows to have an H5 heel. At that time they did not have the H5 Sawtooth heels so it would be more like this H5 flat rubber heel.

Answer:
Yes, all Dexter heels will work across all of their shoes with interchangeable heels. You would only have to get the specific THE 9 soles to fit THE 9 shoes so just watch for that if you are getting the replacement soles.

The H7 is currently the best heel to allow you to slide.

The flat rubber heel H5 has the same texture of rubber on the entire heel. The Sawtooth H5 heel will have 3 different textures of rubber (grey, white, maroon) with the grey rubber being a little smoother than the white and the maroon catching a little more than the white. Overall they are rated to be about the same amount of brake but it also may depend on how your heel comes down in your approach on which of these may be a better fit for your style.
