The choice continues to be easy, with the Ebonite Choice Solid bowling ball. Ebonite took the proven Centrex Symmetrical Mass Bias core and adjusted the shape to lower the differential and introduce the Mod-1 Core. This core creates easy length through the front of the lane and allows for great continuation down lane. The Choice Solid combines this core with the GSV-1 Solid coverstock which is a decendent of the coverstocks used in the successful Game Breaker series of bowling balls. This solid coverstock will generate more friction in the oil. This high performance bowling ball is a great choice when you are looking for strong overall hook on heavy oil lanes.
I have been bowling since I was 5 I'm now 43. This ball is amazing. I have always thrown Ebonight, Colombia 300 and hammers my whole life. And I will never throw anything else. I stay true to my brands. The Choice reminds me of the One witch I still throw to this day.
Rolled this thing an a 8 gamer scratch tournament on a red square pattern. Oil from one to one 41 feet down the lane. The ball tracked the middle of the lane perfectly. What I will say is this ball needs oil. Dry lanes will chew the surface of this ball up. I don't recommend this ball for standard house/league patterns. You will be lucky if you are able to keep this thing on the lane in that condition. If you are a tournament bowler that bowls on PBA/ patterns.....then get this thing ASAP!
This is by far the biggest ball I have thrown to date. Generally, when I bowl on heavy volume sport patterns, I would go with the Track Precision Solid. The Choice Solid offers a similar look in the mid lane as it starts to dig and slow down, but where the Choice Solid differs is in the back ends as it somehow retains energy and continues through the 8-pin. This ball is unreal!
great ball for heavier oil. strong mid-lane and continuation. great control of the pocket on the heavier oil. for me is more overall hook then the choice and choice pearl

How would this ball compare to the storm surelock?8/5/2019 - By Godzilla
How will tthis ball compare to my Deadly Aim2/18/2020 - By JJ
The biggest difference would be the finish out of the box. The Deadly Aim had a 4000 grit with an added sheen polish to it while the Ebonite Choice has a 2000 grit dull finish. The other features on the balls are almost identical so if you were to get the Choice Solid and refinish this to a 4000 grit sheen polish finish then it should be a very close match.2/20/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff

You would need to check with your local proshop to go over the drilling layouts and confirm which layout would work best for your release.3/4/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff
I am looking for a: 15.0-3.0 wt.; 3.5-4.0 pin; 3.0-0.5 oz. top wt.; Pin and CG set for a Right Hand Bowler. Do you have one??2/29/2020 - By Willeee49
We are not able to see the exact weight, pin, or top weight before placing an order unfortunately. However, you can make all of these spec requests by clicking the specs box just below the weight selection box marked "Click to request pin/top weight". Then when the order goes over for packaging out warehouse will check to find an option that matches. If we have it , it will ship out. If we do not have this, we will call you to go over what we found.3/4/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff
What will be the differences be between my paradox red and the choice solid?3/29/2020 - By GB bowler
Actually there is not a lot of differences between the two. Both are high performance bowling balls with a solid coverstock finished at 2000 grit finish out of the box. The only slight difference would be that the Track Paradox weight block is just a little earlier and a little stronger hook potential while the Choice weight block goes just a little longer. These are going to be such small differences though that you may not even be able to see the difference on the lanes.3/30/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff
Is an ebonite choice solid better than a ebonite cyclone4/21/2020 - By Striker
The Ebonite Choice Solid is a high performance ball designed for heavier oil conditions while the Ebonite Cyclone is a mid performance ball designed for medium and some lighter oil conditions. So it depends on what lane conditions you normally bowl in and matching the ball to your needs.4/22/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff
How does the Choice Solid compare to the brown and yellow Verdict?6/29/2020 - By Frank G
The Verdict Pearl was a gold and purple color and it would be a closer comparison to the Choice Pearl. The Choice Solid has a duller finish and is designed to read stronger in the midlane while the Verdict Pearl was designed for more length and backend hook.6/29/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff
