The Harsh Reality does take a similar read on the lanes compared to the Reality and Eternity Pi but has been enhanced to read a little earlier and give a slightly stronger overall hook potential to help in the heavier oil conditions.

Out of the box the Harsh Reality has a duller 2000 grit finish which will grip a little earlier on the lanes than the compound finish the DV8 Brutal Collision had. Other than that they are both very comparable as both are high performance balls for heavier oil lane conditions.
