Ebonite Choice Solid

Ebonite Choice Solid

The choice continues to be easy, with the Ebonite Choice Solid bowling ball. Ebonite took the proven Centrex Symmetrical Mass Bias core and adjusted the shape to lower the differential and introduce the Mod-1 Core. This core creates easy length through the front of the lane and allows for great continuation down lane. The Choice Solid combines this core with the GSV-1 Solid coverstock which is a decendent of the coverstocks used in the successful Game Breaker series of bowling balls. This solid coverstock will generate more friction in the oil. This high performance bowling ball is a great choice when you are looking for strong overall hook on heavy oil lanes.

Question:

How will tthis ball compare to my Deadly Aim

2/18/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The biggest difference would be the finish out of the box. The Deadly Aim had a 4000 grit with an added sheen polish to it while the Ebonite Choice has a 2000 grit dull finish. The other features on the balls are almost identical so if you were to get the Choice Solid and refinish this to a 4000 grit sheen polish finish then it should be a very close match.

I am looking for a: 15.0-3.0 wt.; 3.5-4.0 pin; 3.0-0.5 oz. top wt.; Pin and CG set for a Right Hand Bowler. Do you have one??

2/29/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

We are not able to see the exact weight, pin, or top weight before placing an order unfortunately. However, you can make all of these spec requests by clicking the specs box just below the weight selection box marked "Click to request pin/top weight". Then when the order goes over for packaging out warehouse will check to find an option that matches. If we have it , it will ship out. If we do not have this, we will call you to go over what we found.

Question:

What will be the differences be between my paradox red and the choice solid?

3/29/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Actually there is not a lot of differences between the two. Both are high performance bowling balls with a solid coverstock finished at 2000 grit finish out of the box. The only slight difference would be that the Track Paradox weight block is just a little earlier and a little stronger hook potential while the Choice weight block goes just a little longer. These are going to be such small differences though that you may not even be able to see the difference on the lanes.

Question:

Is an ebonite choice solid better than a ebonite cyclone

4/21/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Ebonite Choice Solid is a high performance ball designed for heavier oil conditions while the Ebonite Cyclone is a mid performance ball designed for medium and some lighter oil conditions. So it depends on what lane conditions you normally bowl in and matching the ball to your needs.

Question:

How does the Choice Solid compare to the brown and yellow Verdict?

6/29/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Verdict Pearl was a gold and purple color and it would be a closer comparison to the Choice Pearl. The Choice Solid has a duller finish and is designed to read stronger in the midlane while the Verdict Pearl was designed for more length and backend hook.

Question:

how does this ball compare to the instigator?

8/27/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are very comparable. They both have high performance weight blocks and both have a solid coverstock. The Choice Solid has a 2000 grit finish versus the 3000 grit finish on the DV8 Instigator so the Choice may read just a little earlier but they are very close across the board.
